Buggy, Buggy, Buggy

As we moved into Raceday 2013, I wanted to create a little memento using 123d Catch to create some little lumpy souveneirs. We spend so much time perfecting, sanding, and otherwise obsessing over our buggies, I thought it might be nice to have a little, non-perfect buggy to use as a gamepiece or keepsake.
I wanted to show the unfinished state, so I chose to paint it to resemble the version we had dubbed “Pandora the Explorer”, complete the with beer-case fairings. I love “Pandora the Explorer” because people always give buggy a lot of flak for taking itself too seriously, and for a good section of the spring, we rolled a $8000 tube covered in Dora the Explorer Wrapping paper and beer cases.
I really like the idea of these as gamepieces (especially in games with a track such as monopoly or candyland)
