“The Fall and the Rise” is meant to symbolize the rebirth of nature in modern society. The rise of mankind causes the fall of nature, yet I wanted this piece to be seen more as the recreation of nature through our industry and civilization. Our industrialization, in a sense, is not destroying nature but reforming it. Through our structures and society, we still see nature even if they are represented through “non-organic” buildings.
