“Melting Men” by Nele Azevedo (2009)

“Melting Men” is a piece by Brazilian artist Nele Azevedo aimed at bringing awareness to climate change and the rise of oceans.  This piece was displayed in Gendarmenmarkt Square in Berlin on a warm, late Summer day to illustrate how melting ice caps could cause the sea to rise 3ft by 2100.
