“5Pointz” by Pat DiLillo and Phun Phactory (1993)
In order to grant graffiti artists a place to legally practice their craft, Pat DiLill0 approached the Walkoff Family in 1993 asking to use their abandoned factory as a monumental canvas to the art. From that point forward, 5Pointz stood as a bastion for graffiti in Queens, New York giving riders of the famous 7 train explosions of form and color to watch as they rode their way into Manhattan. You can see more individual pieces from inside and outside of 5Pointz here. |
