To be viewed mainly through a web browser.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/highrise.nfb.ca\/\">http:\/\/highrise.nfb.ca\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/highrise.nfb.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/omw_loader2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"864\" height=\"486\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Highrise\u00a0consists of multiple sub-projects such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>The Thousandth Tower<\/em>:\u00a0a citizen media project by six residents in a multi cultural highrise in Toronto.<\/li>\n<li><em>Out\u00a0my Window<\/em>: a web documentary exploring the lives of families in 13 cities around the world.<\/li>\n<li><em>One Millionth Tower<\/em>: the result of work between people in residential skyscrapers and architects who collaborated to reimagine their homes in 3D space.<\/li>\n<li><em>Universe Within:<\/em> a project to explore internet connectivity amongst highrise residents.\u00a014 residents in a Toronto highrise went door-to-door to neighbors to explore how they connect online.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/a.fastcompany.net\/multisite_files\/fastcompany\/imagecache\/slideshow_large\/slideshow\/2015\/06\/3047581-slide-s-17b-a-7-year-documentary-reveals-the-untold-stories-of-high-rise-buildings.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"464\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/highrise.nfb.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/UW-hot-docs-misha-still-with-title.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The project was created using, amongst other tools HTML5, WebGL, Three.js, and Javascript.
