“Unnumbered Sparks” by Janet Echelman and Aaron Koblin (2014)

This was an interactive sculpture made for the 30th anniversary of TED. People were able to “paint” on top of the sculpture through using their mobile devices. The sculpture is 745 feet wide. The sculpture is made of soft fibers and is supported by “Honeywell Spectra fiber, a lightweight, durable material 15 times stronger than steel by weight.”
