“Balance” by Luca Damasco (2015)

It becomes quite clear upon entering the alleyway that this space is not meant for people. It is meant for passage. It is meant for the facilitation of travel and transport. Scattered throughout the alley, the byproduct of human disregard lies unnoticed. Crushed beer cans and cigarette butts are stuck between the cracks of the pavement. By bringing together all parts of one major inattention of the space, passersby are forced to notice the alley not just for the dirt and grime, but for every minor detail.
