{"id":3346,"date":"2013-11-18T05:23:16","date_gmt":"2013-11-18T10:23:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/teach.alimomeni.net\/2013fall2\/?p=3346"},"modified":"2013-11-18T05:57:18","modified_gmt":"2013-11-18T10:57:18","slug":"final-project-milestone-3-sean-lee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/teach.alimomeni.net\/2013fall2\/?p=3346","title":{"rendered":"Final Project Milestone 3 \u2013 Sean Lee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Implementation\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Slightly before the due of Milestone 3, I finished to archive 2 goals : to make changeable form and bring more participatory listening interactions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/teach.alimomeni.net\/2013fall2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/photo-4.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3352\" alt=\"photo-4\" src=\"https:\/\/teach.alimomeni.net\/2013fall2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/photo-4.gif\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I have used many parts and technologies for making this like below list.<\/p>\n<p>Hardware :<\/p>\n<p>RN-52 Bluetooth audio module, Arduino pro mini 5v, Thumb Joystick, Transducer<\/p>\n<p>Software :<\/p>\n<p>Pure data with call response, time scratching and audio effects functions with a Arduino scratch<\/p>\n<p>Physical shape :<\/p>\n<p>3D printing with PLA (Based on Socket and joint structure)<\/p>\n<p>In this project, I\u00a0wanted to bring an unusual device to give a sign to user like that\u00a0\u2018hey, you will have an unexpected situation. please, be ready like in Disneyland\u2019 as SETTING. And then, I\u00a0mapped joystick and\u00a0Surface Transducer\u00a0together, so when\u00a0people\u00a0want to hear something with this device, their hands are naturally\u00a0positioned for\u00a0controlling a joystick and they will hear\u00a0customized sound without\u00a0training\u00a0because its controlling system is intuitive and easy to use and it provides true feedbacks as EASY MAPPING and FEEDBACK.
